The staff were friendly, helpful and they engaged with my daughter, which matters when you are a parent with a 5 year old. The room was not huge, but it was very clean, decorated well and worked. The breakfast was good, the breakfast staff were lovely and let me have breakfast even though I was late as my iPhone hadn’t changed the time zone!! I was complaining to them as they were putting the breakfast away as I hadn’t realised breakfast had closed as I was an hour out of time and she still brought things back out and she couldn’t have been nicer about it. I have stayed in many of the hotels in this area over the last 15 years and this is the best, maybe just the Holiday Inn on Rue de Lyon is comparable which is a 4 Star and a little bigger but in my experience not as friendly and accommodating as this one. A little gem in my view, and I have been to/through Paris maybe 25 - 30 times and always stayed in this area.

I liked the staff at the front office the kitchen and the supervisor they were very kind. They offered me two days break fast as a compensation because the room cleanign was not upto the mark and aftre a compliant. the staff was polite and very receptive. I also liked that there were books in the kitchen area and a soft type lounge where one can spend some tme and read books on impressionism paintng and the renaisssance period. Thhe hotel is 4-5 minute walk from Gare De lyon Gare de diderot and Gare de lyon VAn Gogh.. It is around 7 -8 minutes walk to the canals of Paris , one can idle around in the canal with a drink or a cola with a book or just watch the sun set. there is 24*7 wi fi across the property. Carrefour and Monoprix are also within 7-8 minutes of walk..The opera bastille is around 12 minutes walk..

This hotel has an easy walk from Gare de Lyon but out of the noisy traffic congestion of the station. The hotel is surrounded by lots of different restaurants. The hotel has a very good breakfast selection from eggs to cold meats to pastries. Good coffee selection from machine. My room for a single was excellent with windows that open and not overlooked ( no view but private). Bathroom small but adequate and very clean. The bed was comfortable and a small office section gave you an area to put bags and coats leaving a clear area around the bed. The staff were very friendly and willing to help investigate questions they didn’t have immediate answers to. Hotel had a little lift which was great. I would recommend this hotel for singles as the area felt very safe.

The staff is amazing first and foremost. It is literally 2 blocks from Gare de Lyon and the neighborhood is very safe (there are also several other metro stops within a 10 minute walk (like Bastile). The room is not huge and the lift is small, but it does have a lift. Breakfast is actually reasonably price compared to the local restaurants so I chose to have the breakfast (around $14 a day). It does have air conditioning so that is huge, especially it was warm out when I visited. I would stay here again.

Location was good, close to all types of transport.Beds were very comfortable. Our twin room was the biggest room I have ever had in Paris. Breakfast was excellent. The variety on offer was very good as was the quality.Lift was useful moving luggage around. Bath was a nice surprise and we both made good use. The toiletries offered were of high quality. All the staff members were happy and very helpful.
